Grovii ("the App") respects your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws.

1. Information We Handle

(1) Information you enter — stored on your device only

  • Child's name (nickname), date of birth, gender, height and weight records, memos, profile photo

This information is stored solely in the App's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, and we cannot access it.

(2) Information collected automatically — to improve the service and to serve ads

  • Usage statistics (screen views, feature usage counts), app version, device language and region settings
  • App preferences (unit system, growth reference standard), age range and count range of registered children
  • Error and performance data (startup time, crashes)
  • An anonymous per-installation identifier (app instance ID) — it cannot identify you personally and is not shared with other apps
  • Advertising identifier — on Android, the Advertising ID is used to serve and measure ads and for statistical analysis. On iOS, the app does not request tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), so the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not made available to the app, and only contextual, non-personalized ads are shown
  • Information sent with ad requests — device type, operating system version, and approximate location (country or region level) inferred from your IP address
  • Collected via: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Google AdMob (Google LLC)

The App displays advertisements. Ads are served through Google AdMob. Device information is used to show ads and measure their performance, and on Android your device's advertising identifier is also used.

You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads). Opting out does not remove ads; you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to your interests. On iOS, because the app does not request tracking, only non-personalized ads are shown and no action is needed.

2. Purpose of Use

  • Providing child growth tracking and growth percentile analysis
  • Improving app features, analyzing errors, and stabilizing performance
  • Serving ads and measuring ad performance (to fund the App and keep it free)

3. Retention and Deletion

  • On-device data: Deleted immediately when you remove it in the App or uninstall the App.
  • Automatically collected data: Retained for up to 14 months from collection, then automatically deleted.

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following service providers and share data for advertising as described below:

5. International Transfers

The automatically collected data described in 1-(2) is processed outside your country:

  • Destination: United States
  • Data, purpose and retention: as described in sections 1-(2), 2 and 3

If you do not wish this to occur, you may stop using and uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

  • The App is a tool for parents and legal guardians to record their child's growth.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
  • Information about a child is entered by the guardian and remains on the guardian's device.
  • If we learn that a child has directly provided personal information, we will delete it without delay.
  • The App is intended for adults aged 18 and over (parents and guardians) and is not directed to children. All ads shown are restricted to a general (G) content rating and are not targeted at children.
  • Ads are shown based on the guardian's device that runs the App. Information entered about a child (name, date of birth, height, weight, etc.) is never used for advertising or shared with advertising partners.

7. Your Rights

  • Access, correction, deletion: Available directly within the App at any time.
  • Full deletion: Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all records.
